International Travel now online

After some career coaching by Michael while in Japan, I investigated Last.FM and have added my debut vanity-released album International Travel there. If you have Last.FM installed, you can listen to the whole thing via internet radio.

I find this quite satisfying somehow. Kind of closure on the whole business, I guess. Listening back now to the CD I find it hangs together well. None of the tracks are that exciting on their own, but the progression makes it more than the sum of its parts.

However I really must apologise for the Aquaboogie image on the Last.FM page*. I decided I'd better use something, so I trawled through these pics from my recent trip abroad, and I found something showing me in an odd moment, brightly lit and surrounded by waxwork Chinese opera performers. Sort of fit in with the album... However, as soon as I uploaded I looked at it on the page and thought "Who's this smug canute?" Unfortunately Last.FM is set up so that anyone can upload an image of 'Aquaboogie' -- I have no more (or less) control of the damn thing than you do, so it's basically stuck there.

I invite anyone with digital photos of me to propose an alternative. It ought to be an improvement, mind...

* Though I'm not at all ashamed of the silly picture(s) on this blog's home page. Not at all.
