One of the websites I work on, Toi Te Taiao: The Bioethics Council is holding an online dialogue about the use of human embryos in research.
So far the posters have all been Christian, and it would be nice to have some opposing viewpoints for a little balance. I would like to wade in, but I'm busy enough trying to keep the forum from breaking (I didn't build it, but I'm not certain my refinements have helped :-). In any event, I'm on the staff, so I should be above a bit of rough and tumble.
What we really need is some king hitters from the old scfbbs days at VUW. Petulant men with time on their hands like Tom Crosby, Tony Quirke, JimJam. And Mr Troll himself, Alex Heatley. And 'Nita fretting a bit while I eat some wedges smothered in garlic mayo washed down with a $1 600ml bottle of coke...
Anyway, if any of you would like to join in, please do. Please be aware that this is a polite Quango-led discussion, so the old knockabout style of the BBS probably won't serve. But by all means join in. Just don't say who sent you.
