Remake Fail

They've only released a teaser poster and they've already got it fatally wrong.

Paul Verhoeven's Robocop was a lot of things. Violent, smart, satirical, more than a little emo. One thing it absolutely was not, was a movie where Robocop smirked like a self-satisfied Val Kilmer.

I hear the remake of The Matrix is due out next year.

Also, I don't believe Robocop was a cylon in the original.

Beau and I both found Speed Racer to be awesome fun. Plus, inspirational hair!

I had read somewhere that they were planning to remake Robocop without all that annoying political subtext. *tsk*
