The ape is researching
he knows something
that no-one else knows
but everyone else knows
and no-one needs to.
So he'll tell some others
who might think he's wise
and join him for a self-serving
cup of tea and a muffin.
An infinity of monkeys
on an infinity of typewriters
may type the works of Shakespeare
but could their achievements
be adequately reflected
in a quarterly report?

The monkey wants to see
if his art inspires

he can blame those who still shop
at the $2 shop
then pack up his work
and drive home.
