The gibbon
tried to push play
he bought a pedometer
it didn't register anything
he decided he didn't get enough exercise
and
he tried to walk a thousand steps a day
The other gibbons
hanging around
didn't know what to say
They admired his effort
but agreed
as they swung
effortlessly through the trees
that it was somehow
misplaced
