This vent intentionally left cryptic for a very good reason. It's none of your business what I mean.
I've been really crap at updating this blog, for several reasons. One is that my internet connection has been a motherfucker lately, logging me off for no reason. Another is that the dashboard has been loading amazingly slowly. But mainly, I'm just a lazy bitch.
So for the benefit (or whatever) of those who have not been going to the same gigs and parties as me, here's a brief update. 5 items in 5 minutes.
The beard is gone. My spur of the moment shave definitely inspired one flatmate to shave his own face, and may have inspired another to shave his entire head (he still has eyebrows).
Meat is also gone. This seems to have lead to me having a lot more energy and generally feel a lot better.
Writing is not getting done. Yeah, I suck.
I am not looking forward to my flatmate moving out. And in fact leaving the country. But she's gonna do it anyway. Make of this what you will.
NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind rocks. It is a 800+ page manga by Hayao Miyazaki, one of my favourite filmmakers, and is a lot better than the movie he based on it (which I also love).
That's part of where I am right now. Life is mostly great. Hope you all are doing well. Unless you prefer to wallow in misery, in which case fuck off dick. I aim to please even the maladjusted freaks among us.

You're going to love this. Unless you're one of the people who think taggers should be subjected to dire punishment, in which case fuck you.

This Wednesday, 4 June, I will be playing music at Katipo, on Willis Street. The plan is for psychedelic & bizarre Italian horror movie music, but it won't be quite that strict.
My collaborator will be DJ Scout (who some you you may know as Chris Gilman), of Active's Deep Show and VBC's Wake and Bake.
After about an hour of that, the usual Malty Media crew of Jet Jaguar and Aquaboogie will do their thing.
Starts at 7pm. Admission is free. It'd be cool to see you there. Big ups to Mike & Stu for the opportunity.
