God, I have nothing to say

One reason I haven't been blogging lately is that it's not so easy getting access to a computer to do it from. (All changing in the near future, never fear my pretties.)

But a bigger reason is that I haven't had anything I felt like getting off my chest. Haven't seen much real world stuff that's enriched, intruiged or enraged me more than usual. Haven't encountered any music, books, movies etc that I'd rave about one way or the other. Haven't done anything especially interesting. Haven't met any particularly engaging or annoying new people. Life has been relaxing and pleasant for the most part. My new flatmates are proving to be hearteningly easy to live with - hopefully the same is true of me.

So anyone got any ideas on something interesting I can do to shake my cage a little? Writing's helping, but it's not enough.

Oh shit!

I forgot that Hunter S. Thompson shot himself on Sunday! Like, on purpose this time, and fatally to boot.

This is the second time I've reported Dr. Thompson's death. Seems to be real this time, sadly.

I wonder why he did it? A few months ago he reported that John Kerry was definitely going to be President. Maybe he just realised how wrong he was.

Sooooo... Celebrations are in order now. Celebrations of Dr. Thompson's life and work and everything he stood for. Who's got the drugs? More good journalists are needed, immediately.

I'm gonna go home and watch the Hunter doco on the Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas dvd.

We're a winner!

This blog still gets hits each and every day. Man, imagine what'd happen if I actually posted something interesting! Or posted anything at all, for that matter.

Nothing to see here. No good news to share. No disasters to report. Keep hitting the site anyway, please. I love seeing y'all bash up against an empty page, it's like watching moths with a light bulb.
