An Alien ripoff that does nothing that the first movie did well. About as good as most Alien ripoffs, which is to say pretty fucking bad. (But then I didn't much like Alien either.)
Starship Troopers 3
Not up to the first movie, but many miles ahead of the second. Weird that the same guy wrote all 3, and he also directed this one. The "America = Nazi Germany" stuff is more blatant than ever, and there's amusing satire on fundie religion. '90s videogame level FX, but still worthy.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Pretty good, but probably less funny overall than the other Freaks and Geeks alumni movies.

The comic it was based on is appalling. The movie is actually worse.
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
I don't get what the fuss was about. It was pretty to look at, but also pretty goddamned dull.
The Mist
Solid adaptation of one of Stephen King's best stories.Mostly faithful, but managed to be even more downbeat than its source. The third and best giant insect movie I saw last weekend. (See also SS Troopers 1 & 2 above.)
