As in, "Oh God no", "No, I'm not going to review that", or just a general negation of the movie's existence? Or something else?

my two month is also looking for an explanation to this "No" review. he will be very displeased if movie's existence is negated. it was the very first movie he went to - a vital stage in a babies development (right after focusing) - so he hopes it is something else...
my boy has also seen The 39 Steps. If all else fails can you review that movie and answer in it this question; Is it as racist towards the Scottish as it appears?

I wanted to be as negative as possible and reinforce that it isn't worth wasting words on. But here's a longer review because it was requested:

None of the fun of a normal Indiana Jones movie - even the requisite gruesome bad-guy deaths are disappointingly tame. The thing I liked best about it is how pleased with herself Karen Allen looks throughout; Cate Blanchett was also ok. The entire "Chariots of the Gods" thing was a terrible idea; Indiana Jones is not the X-Files. Cutesy cgi animals, "son of Indy", and way too much really dumb stuff (yes all the Indy movies are based around dumb stuff, but previously they seemed to know it was dumb and have fun with it; this time it just seemed brain damaged) all sucked frozen cheeseballs.

Don't recall any anti-Scottish racism, but there was definitely a suggestion that South American people have nothing better to do than lurk in tombs waiting for white people they can attack.

But mainly, it lacked that spark that made the earlier movies - even Temple of Doom - so much fun.

My date liked it more than I did, but he hasn't blogged that.

The woman in front of us who gasped and giggled in glee at the Mamma Mia trailer was clearly enthralled by Indy 4.
