My Name Is Bruce

Based on this trailer, I just got less excited about Bruce Campbell's new movie.

Okay, sure -- it looks awful. Maybe it's Mildred's inverse law of trailers kicking in...

Okay, maybe not. Wow. Bad. Gee, maybe if he'll do crap like this he'll do my "Bruce Campbell script" idea. At least mine doesn't have a role for Ted or jokes that lame.

What's with jokes about Asian people (supposedly) confusing 'r' and 'l'? That's the sort of humour that made me dismiss Lost In Translation as racist claptrap.

Oh, come on.

"Lip my stockings" is funny, damnit!

Speaking of racist movies - my favourite part of IMDb is the message board, where, for every single film, there are several entries titled "This movie is racist!!1!", in which the author will then proceed to point out that a) there are no black people in the film or b) the black kid died first or c) blacks are stereotyped ... etc.

Comedy gold, I tell you.

Bruce Campbell - stick to amusing cameos in Sam Raimi's films.

Bruce Campbell is a star. This movie will be awesome. Sam Raimi can lick me, he hasn't made a decent movie since AoD. He's a sell-out. You're all cunts.
