Copycats

The Dillinger Escape Plan have covered Justin Timberlake's mighty epic, Like I Love You. Link.

Are they copying Wellington hardcore band Idle Faction, who have been known to cover Britney Spears's towering achievement, Toxic, in live performances?

We may never know for sure.

I really like DEP but they'd have to work quite hard to make their cover as rocking as Toxic has become!

homeperm: you sound like you're being sarcastic. I actually have Justified, and listen to it on occassion.

Scott: Please play it tonight. Your fan base begs for it! BTW - did you talk to that chick last Thursday who was absolutely nutting out (in a good way) to the Darrens about Toxic? She thought you guys had real stones to cover Britney.

Joey : Yeah - but she came along to one of the other gigs and raved to us about it there :-)

And it wasn't just toxic - she liked the majority of what we did which is nice to hear from someone who has no association with us (not that our friends would be anything less than honest with us :-)

Yes we will be playing it tonight - but we won't be recording it, strictly a live thing for IF.
