Hrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmm... that's some tasty satire

The Daily Show will be on C4 from April 18.

Update There's some conflicting information; C4's press release say it's going to be broadcast on Tuesdays, which would indicate it's the weekly "international" edition which is also screened on CNN. But at the same time, they're saying it's Monday's episode, screened here very soon after. So, it sounds like it's possibly just Monday's show, on a weekly basis. Better than nothing, but if Prime can show Letterman daily, can't we get Stewart?

This is all a bit academic, anyways -- we have very poor tv reception (with the exception of Prime and usually TV3), with no C4 whatsoever, so bittorrent downloads will still be the order of the day (or, if my viewing habits keep up, the month). And I'm guessing its sister show "The Colbert Report" will not be shown as it's just far too esoteric.
