they describe the setting of Peter Jackson's Brain Dead as "a 1957 New Zealand village", to which I say "bah!" and point out the village in question is Wellington

Am I the only one concerned that the casting of Mos Def means that the relationship between Arthur & Ford has be devolved into the same clueless white guy vs. cooler-than-hip black dude shtick that's been done a million times before?

Ford was always cooler than Arthur; likewise, Zaphod was cooler than both of them. I don't mind having Ford as a black guy; similarly, I don't mind not seeing Zaphod's 3rd arm and 2nd head all the time.
