Of course, Johnny Cash has died. And unlike Bob Hope, he happens to have died in a month when I had him picked to die.
That's right, dead pool fans -- Channel Z's Celebrity Clog-Popping Jackpot has been won, by my good self. 38 brand-new pristine CDs are mine -- all miiiiiiiiiiiiine, I tells ya!
That was until, of course, Slim Dusty died in the weekend just gone. I now have to split the CDs with at least one other person who happened to make the tremendous call that Mr. Dusty's death was imminent. Although, really, in this competition, how could we all be anything other than winners?

Speaking of Mr. Cash, there's a good chance that there will be a short musical tribute to him at Valve on Oct 3. Probably consisting of two fine young fellows getting up on stage to sing one song before the rest of the band says "Thank Christ that's over" and then has to admit to not only knowing with them but playing with them.
